Meet the Staff

Yolanda Marshall
In April 2009 I lost my job after 30 years of serves due to the company downsizing. God had a different and better plan for me. My Pastor ask me two weeks after been unemployed could I go visit Dallas CWJC site. After the first week there I fell in LOVE with the CWJC. I ask the site coordinator could I return. I begin volunteering at the site for about a year. God had a different and better plan for me. Hope Coalition CWJC started its first semester February 23, 2010. Now I’m working and serving for the Lord. I love and care for hurting people. I’m living my call and experiencing God where He is at work. I have been the site coordinator for Hope Coalition CWJC since it started in 2010. Yolanda Marshall is also involved in the mentor ministry at Gatesville prison on the Lane Murray Unit once a month. Yolanda teaches women adult Sunday school and Usher at New Creation Bible Church. She also travel to other states twice a year with Spark Ministry serving women at faith basic Homeless Shelter.

Karen Johnson
I began HOPE COALITION in March 2013 as a student. After years of addiction, the love and support from these ladies was just what I needed, Through a faith based program, woman to woman mentoring, life skills training, career planning, nutrition/ healthy eating, and art therapy, I gained confidence and the skills to become self-sufficient, In December 2013 I completed the 12 week program and graduated . I returned each semester getting all the information I could and began to volunteer.. In March 2015 I attended the initial training session to be a site co-oordinator and will complete the training in the fall. I was then asked to serve on the board of directors, which I gladly accepted. I am now in charge of fundraising, and public relations. I thank God for putting HOPE COALITION and these wonderful women in my life. No words could ever express the gratitude I have for them.

Dr. Billy Bell
New Creation Bible Church was planted July 12, 2001, under the pastoral leadership of Dr. Billy J. Bell, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Its name, New Creation Bible Church [NCBC], was chosen after continuous prayer followed by conformation from the Lord. The church held its first service with twenty-eight members present at the home of Pastor and Mrs. Bell. These charter members were excited and honored to be co-laborers with Jesus Christ in the witnessing and disciple-making process.
